(1928-1999) was a famous movie director, producer, and writer, as well as a chess master. He was famous for many groundbreaking, influential, and sometimes controversial films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Full Metal Jacket, Paths of Glory, Spartacus, and The Shining.
